What you will do

• Lead drafting, negotiation, and execution of complex commercial agreements with strategic partners in the payments and fintech space.
• Develop novel agreement frameworks and provide business-centric legal advice balancing risk with speed.
• Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Compliance teams.
• Create scalable commercial playbooks and risk-mitigation strategies to optimize deal timelines.
• Coordinate with internal specialists and outside counsel to resolve complex legal issues beyond core expertise.

Requirements

• 5+ years of transactional legal experience in-house or at a leading law firm.
• JD (or equivalent) and an active license in a U.S. state.
• Expertise in structuring agreements with fintechs, banks, payment processors, and payment networks.
• Experience navigating highly regulated financial services environments.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume deal pipeline with precision.
• Proficiency in utilizing generative AI to improve workflow efficiency and quality.
