Salary: $168,000–$200,000 plus 10% annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and execute complex commercial, software, and partnership agreements.
• Provide practical legal guidance on privacy, data use, and consumer protection regulations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to assess legal implications of new features.
• Manage litigation support, discovery, and internal investigations.
• Identify opportunities to improve legal workflows and incorporate AI tools for efficiency.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders to navigate ambiguity and manage risk.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active U.S. state bar membership.
• 8+ years of progressive legal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
• At least 3 years of in-house experience supporting a software, technology, or SaaS business.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
• Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment.
• Ability to travel periodically to corporate offices or Basecamps.
