Salary: $230,000 – $250,000 + equity

What you will do

• Lead complex global commercial negotiations with enterprise customers, strategic partners, and vendors.
• Draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including MSAs, DPAs, procurement, and reseller agreements.
• Design, implement, and mature global compliance and governance programs, focusing on data privacy and AI governance.
• Advise on the contractual, operational, and regulatory implications of new products and features.
• Develop scalable contracting playbooks, templates, and fallback positions to support a global sales organization.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Security, Product, and Executive leadership to drive efficient deal execution.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant in-house or law firm experience supporting tech companies.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and enterprise customer expectations.
• Experience supporting global legal, compliance, privacy, and governance initiatives.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting high-growth or late-stage private technology companies.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar regulatory and assurance frameworks.
• Experience with AI governance or emerging technology regulation.
• Employment law experience in global or multi-jurisdictional environments.
