What you will do
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead in SAP.
- Manage periodic cost updates and communicate financial impacts to senior management.
- Track and report variances by partnering with engineering and operations teams.
- Conduct inventory valuation, reconciliation, cycle counts, and obsolescence reviews.
- Collaborate with FP&A business partners to analyze Budgets vs. Standards vs. Actuals.
- Drive system efficiencies and process automation through UAT and cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CMA preferred).
- 3β5+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in complex multi-plant manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex datasets in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Must be based in San Jose, California.
