What you will do

• Manage quality issue tracking, containment, and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for non-conformances identified during production audits.
• Diagnose NVH issues reported during Rider Quality Audits and establish standard inspection processes and tooling.
• Execute strategic continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of production quality audits and vehicle release processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Vehicle Development to resolve systemic product and process issues.
• Develop and review PFMEA and Control Plans to ensure robust risk mitigation for all critical manufacturing processes.
• Communicate technical results clearly and drive complex quality issues to successful closure.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, aviation, or contract manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Shainin Red X, Six Sigma Black/Green Belt).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Hayward or Foster City, CA.

Nice to have

• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience.
• Expertise in quality management and ERP systems (SAP, MES, JIRA) for data analysis and reporting.
• ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer - CQE or Six Sigma Black Belt).
