What you will do

  • Champion field quality initiatives and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to enhance product reliability.
  • Analyze fleet data to proactively identify emerging quality trends and systemic risks.
  • Lead cross-functional root cause analysis and containment for complex field issues to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop scalable field quality processes, tools, and automation for triaging failures.
  • Define quality coverage requirements and implement validation methods for corrective actions.
  • Establish a structured feedback system to improve designs, diagnostics, and operational playbooks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product development.
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality or reliability engineering role.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and dashboarding using Python, SQL, JMP, or Tableau.
  • Practical application of core quality methodologies (e.g., 8D DMAIC, FMEA, MSA, SPC, DOE).
  • Must be based in or able to work in the USA (Mountain View, CA)

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the automotive, robotics, or similar complex systems industry.
  • Advanced skills in statistical modeling and large-scale data analysis tools.
  • Deep understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software interactions.
  • Familiarity with Weibull analysis and Nevada charting.
