Director, Total Rewards (HR/Compensation): Leading the strategy, governance, and operational execution of compensation, benefits, and sales incentive programs across the US and Canada with an accent on scalability, compliance, and data-driven decision-making. Focus on optimizing total rewards architecture, leveraging AI and technology to improve operational efficiency, and partnering with executive leadership to align programs with business objectives.

Location: Remote (US/Canada), with a preference for candidates based in the Metro Atlanta area.

Salary: $160,000–$195,000 USD

What you will do

  • Lead the ongoing evolution of the total rewards philosophy across the US and Canada.
  • Own enterprise compensation strategy, including market pricing, job architecture, and salary administration.
  • Design and govern sales commission plans, serving as the business owner for the Salesforce Spiff platform.
  • Manage employee benefit programs, including health, welfare, retirement, and disability offerings.
  • Drive operational excellence by automating and optimizing processes using Workday, AI, and other technologies.
  • Partner with executive leadership, Finance, and HR Business Partners to ensure programs are competitive and aligned with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or Finance required.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of US and Canadian employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience designing and administering sales compensation programs.
  • Strong operational leadership skills with the ability to build scalable processes and governance.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification.
