What you will do

• Own accounting for inventory, COGS, reserves, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and validate standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze and explain purchase price, usage, and manufacturing variances.
• Support month-end/quarter-end close and external audit requirements.
• Assist with SEC reporting disclosures related to inventory and cost accounting.
• Partner with operations and IT on system implementations, specifically SAP Business One.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2–4 years of experience in inventory or cost accounting.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR/EAR compliance).
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and standard-costing environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Nice to have

• CMA or CPA certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing or inventory-intensive environment.
