Data Analyst

Focus on designing dashboards and analytical outputs, optimizing SQL and data pipelines, and supporting cross-functional initiatives across IT, Data, and Finance.

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid/office-based with remote office environment possible)

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate business objectives into scalable analytical solutions.
• Extract, integrate, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to create trusted datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data pipelines, and analytical models using BigQuery and Python.
• Design and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for executive-ready insights.
• Validate data accuracy and integrity by reconciling results across systems and resolving data quality issues.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to scalable datasets, feature stores, and reusable analytical assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing scalable datasets, reporting solutions, and analytical insights in a business environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with large-scale data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, including experience with additional scripting/query languages as needed.
• Advanced experience with Google BigQuery (or comparable cloud analytical databases) and strong understanding of relational data modeling, query optimization, and ETL/ELT concepts.
