Staff Analytics Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Staff Analytics Engineer (SQL/DBT/Python): Building and maintaining the data infrastructure and pipelines that power external data products with an accent on scalability, data modeling, and stakeholder delivery. Focus on designing robust analytics workflows, prototyping new data products, and mentoring a growing team of analytics engineers.

Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (Hybrid: 2 days a week in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end implementations of data products for external customers.
• Set technical direction and standards for the analytics engineering team.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using Python, DBT, and SQL.
• Develop and manage internal and external dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
• Prototype new data products and collaborate with engineering to drive the product roadmap.
• Mentor other engineers and manage their professional development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar technical roles.
• Proven expertise in DBT, SQL, and GitHub-based development.
• Experience designing and maintaining complex data pipelines and models.
• Experience in customer-facing roles working with technical and business stakeholders.
• Must be based in Austin, TX.
