Senior Accountant

What you will do

• Execute monthly accounting close procedures, including journal entries and financial reporting.
• Manage and reconcile monthly customer billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable collections.
• Perform GL account variance analyses and research discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and maintain detailed balance sheet reconciliations and supporting workpapers.
• Assist in annual external financial audits and periodic state or health plan audits.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls to support organizational growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• CPA designation.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Quicksight.
• Background in Medicare/Medicaid billing and reconciliation.
