TL;DR

Technical Principal (Fintech): Providing technical expertise and thought leadership to influence projects and drive business agility within an auto finance environment with an accent on translating strategy into effective technical solutions. Focus on driving cross-team solutions, mentoring technical staff, and integrating AI tools into organizational workflows.

Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in office). Must be based in Arlington or San Antonio, TX. No visa sponsorship available.

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise and thought leadership to influence organizational projects and initiatives.
• Partner with business and department leaders to translate high-level strategy into actionable technical solutions.
• Act as a change agent for new methodologies to improve business agility and operational excellence.
• Drive cross-team solutions by anticipating problems and acting as a key influencer in oversight areas.
• Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, and continuous improvement through open communication and information sharing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a related technical function.
• 3-5 years of experience leading through mentorship and influence.
• Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives from start to finish.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the implications of technical decisions.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to improve efficiency and insights.
• Experience evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
• Professional certifications or memberships in accredited associations.
