Salary: $219,100 – $301,300 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams to help customers solve complex business problems using the Databricks platform.
• Provide technical leadership for customers evaluating and adopting data intelligence solutions.
• Consult on big data architecture and execute proof of concepts for strategic projects.
• Validate integrations with cloud services and third-party applications.
• Build and present reference architectures, demos, and technical content for developer communities.
• Travel to meet with customers within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role.
• Expertise in designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging with Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong background in data engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and data warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP).
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related engineering discipline.
