What you will do

• Lead electrification development and validation testing for battery cells, modules, packs, energy storage systems, and hydrogen fuel cell systems.
• Champion laboratory safety and establish standard validation and development processes.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for mechanical integration of electrified products in test setups.
• Coordinate and lead build and rework activities across the validation and development team.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance validation and development capabilities.
• Liaise with shared facility resources for fabrication, rapid prototyping, and assembly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited curriculum.
• Professional work experience in a related test and validation role.
• Strong proficiency in product testing, troubleshooting, and project management.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Mossville, IL.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory testing and product development in electrical systems, specifically Li-Ion batteries.
• Experience with prototyping and proof-of-concept build activities.
• Experience coordinating or leading personnel in a hands-on laboratory environment.
