What you will do

• Create and refine high-performance, multi-axis motion control systems for nanometer-scale positioning.
• Design complex, multi-layer PCBs featuring microcontrollers, precision ADCs/DACs, and mixed-signal circuitry.
• Develop real-time control software and implement motion/safety logic using Beckhoff TwinCAT and TwinSAFE.
• Translate system-level requirements into detailed electrical and control specifications for actuators and sensors.
• Lead hardware bring-up, verification, and validation plans covering motion performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition designs into production and support field deployments.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience or MS with 6+ years of experience.
• Extensive experience with Beckhoff PLCs, TwinCAT, TwinSAFE, and EtherCAT.
• Strong background in motion control systems, servo control, and mixed-signal board-level design.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and IEC 61131-3 Structured Text for real-time control.
• Ability to independently deliver complex electrical subsystems from concept through validation.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
