What you will do

• Develop and implement training programs for technicians regarding substation equipment, protective relaying, and testing processes.
• Provide on-site technical oversight for projects, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.
• Manage field storm support, including substation response and circuit restoration coordination.
• Analyze test results and data to recommend maintenance plans, repairs, or equipment replacements.
• Conduct factory field visits for quality control inspections and test witnessing.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure best practices are followed on substation projects.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree in an Electrical Engineering field.
• Seven to ten years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working in a unionized environment.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead teams.
• Strong knowledge of substation equipment, protective relaying, and testing methodologies.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify).

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• Recognized Subject-Matter-Expert status in electrical testing.
