What you will do

• Conduct ongoing monitoring of complex commercial loans, assessing underwriting, structure, approval, and risk rating.
• Lead and participate in Credit Process and Target Reviews across various commercial portfolios.
• Validate credit/financial information to verify borrower creditworthiness and the validity of loan grades.
• Prepare periodic Risk Assessments to validate or revise risk-based rankings of assigned units.
• Communicate findings to loan officers and management to drive positive changes in lending practices.
• Mentor junior Loan Review Officers and serve as a Subject Matter Expert on assigned portfolios.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in credit review, commercial lending, commercial loan underwriting, or portfolio management.
• College degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient writing skills for clear, concise, and persuasive communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general banking experience.
• For remote/hybrid work: Must have a secure home office environment with a reliable private internet connection.
