SBA Business Development Officer

Salary: $98,035 – $110,000

What you will do

• Develop and manage relationships with small to mid-size business clients.
• Market and originate SBA 7(a) lending opportunities.
• Prepare and present credit analyses and lending recommendations.
• Structure, underwrite, and negotiate loan terms and conditions.
• Monitor and manage loan portfolio performance through ongoing reviews.
• Represent the bank through community involvement and networking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, or related field required.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial credit and business development, including SBA lending.
• Strong knowledge of SBA 7(a) lending products, regulations, and underwriting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
