What you will do

• Underwrite a high volume of unsecured consumer loan applications through manual risk assessment.
• Evaluate supporting documentation to approve, deny, or request additional information.
• Assist in the development and refinement of underwriting guidelines.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve internal processes.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of underwriting experience, preferably in unsecured lending.
• Experience analyzing financial instruments including credit reports, paystubs, tax returns, and bank statements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft product line and windows-based applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including one weekend day (Sunday-Thursday).
• Strong English communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal).
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
