Salary: $190,000–$230,000

What you will do

• Lead the full accounting function, including monthly close, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Assess and improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls to support business growth.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.
• Oversee inventory accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable workflows.
• Develop and mentor the accounting team while establishing clear operating rhythms.
• Partner with executive leadership on financial priorities, risk management, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Must be located in the Eastern or Central time zone to ensure overlap with U.S. and U.K. teams.
• Significant progressive accounting experience, ideally as a Controller or Head of Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, inventory accounting, and internal controls.
• Proven experience with NetSuite and managing complex accounting systems.
• Experience supporting major financial transactions like financing, acquisitions, or audits.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

• Background in consumer products, retail, beauty, or apparel industries.
