Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting

Location: Remote - United States. Candidates residing in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Dakota, West Virginia, or Wisconsin are not being considered.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 for Region 1; $154,700–$182,000 for Region 2; $139,400–$164,000 for Region 3. Compensation depends on US work location, skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day execution of the US corporate general ledger close, including close calendars, dependencies, operational accounting workflows, and data synchronization.
• Oversee accrual accounting, journal entry governance, ASC 842 lease accounting, debt and equity schedules, and high-risk manual entry reviews.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset rollforwards, CAPEX schedules, depreciation workpapers, and corporate OPEX variance analysis.
• Partner with Finance Transformation and system administrators to improve accounting workflows, close-management processes, and general ledger infrastructure.
• Manage external audit requests, walkthroughs, supporting documentation, SOX controls, control testing, and deficiency remediation.
• Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of corporate accountants while building sustainable leadership capacity.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience, including 3+ years managing people.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accrual methodologies, OPEX reporting, ASC 842 lease accounting, balance sheet management, COSO, and SOX.
• Experience in high-growth technology, consumer products, hardware, or inventory-intensive manufacturing environments.
• Advanced experience with Tier-1 ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle, close-management platforms such as FloQast, and audit request management software.
• Direct experience designing, testing, or executing SOX controls and external audits in a public-company or late-stage pre-IPO environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA designation.
