General Ledger Accountant / Senior Accountant (NetSuite)

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid

Salary: $90,000–$135,000 annual base salary, plus equity

What you will do

• Support global tax compliance, including income tax, VAT/GST, and statutory filings with external tax advisors.
• Own general ledger accounting in NetSuite across multiple international legal entities.
• Manage balance sheet accounts for international subsidiaries, including cash, intercompany, accruals, prepaid expenses, payroll, and tax accounts.
• Execute monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and consolidation.
• Maintain intercompany billing, settlements, eliminations, and funding.
• Support global payroll accounting and multi-currency remeasurement and translation under US GAAP.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting or audit experience, ideally in SaaS or usage-based revenue environments.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including hands-on ASC 740 experience.
• Experience with US federal and state taxes, plus exposure to international tax frameworks such as VAT/GST and foreign corporate taxes.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
