What you will do

• Facilitate rehabilitative programming and instruct offenders to assist in their community reintegration.
• Manage program resources, market services to offenders, and handle enrollments.
• Maintain detailed case notes and program tracking reports using the Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS).
• Perform offender classifications and prepare Temporary Absence Permits.
• Coordinate with fee-for-service providers and facilitate referrals for discharge planning.
• Support senior management through reports, advice, and participation in committees.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in social sciences (e.g., criminology, sociology, law, psychology, or social work).
• Knowledge of group facilitation theories and practical application in correctional settings.
• Experience collaborating with community agencies to facilitate discharge planning.
• Understanding of the justice system, court processes, and relevant legislation such as the Ministry of Correctional Services Act.
• Proficiency in computer systems for data retrieval and report generation.
• Ability to work evening and weekend shifts based on operational requirements.
