Salary: $5,526.42 - $7,941.25 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Plan, develop, and implement innovative front-line and online advising services and programs for prospective students and their families/representatives.
  • Provide one-on-one and group advising in-person, by phone, and through CRM/online channels, including front desk advising.
  • Use CRM and student information systems to load, tag, analyze interactions, run reports, and support recruitment/advising effectiveness.
  • Advise on admission requirements, application processes, tuition fees, financial awards, housing opportunities, orientation programs, and undergraduate student experience.
  • Make accurate referrals to campus departments and resolve unusual/complex issues across organizational boundaries while respecting roles.
  • Produce qualitative and quantitative summary reports and recommend improvements to the Welcome Centre Advising Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of related experience (or equivalent education and experience).
  • Sound knowledge of university admission criteria, services, and resources for Canadian and international students.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including public-speaking roles.
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (and other standard office software).
