Location: Must be based in Kelowna, BC, Canada (Onsite at Okanagan Campus)
Compensation: $5,964.75 - $8,573.08 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of campus and community engagement programs, including youth sport development and large-scale athletic events.
- Manage fan engagement operations for varsity game days to ensure a high-quality spectator experience.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student staff, including managing payroll and performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build partnerships and fundraising opportunities for athletic programs.
- Serve as a risk manager for all led programs, ensuring compliance with safety, insurance, and contractual obligations.
- Support alumni engagement initiatives such as tournaments and scholarship events.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Human Kinetics, Physical Education, Business Operations, or Events Planning).
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in sport or student development.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Demonstrated ability to organize sport/recreation events and coordinate student development programs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Nice to have
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience managing risk in a sport setting.
- History of innovation and self-starting capabilities.
