What you will do

• Lead daily operations for Disability Claim Specialists, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
• Serve as the primary resource for complex disability claims by setting direction and procedures, answering questions, and supporting claim decisions.
• Communicate with stakeholders to manage relationships and support effective case handling.
• Analyze business, financial, service, and operations information to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, define objectives, and measure outcomes.
• Resolve quality and client service issues, identify recurring trends, and recommend operational efficiencies.
• Build and develop the team through recruiting, training, and ongoing coaching and career guidance.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in business, medical, or rehabilitation management.
• 2+ years of people management experience combined with 2–3 years of direct experience in Life and Disability insurance.
• Insurance designation (LOMA or other) is considered an asset.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required.
• English proficiency is required for daily collaboration with teams and partners outside Québec.
