What you will do

• Lead technical strategy for platform networking and traffic management across multi-cluster EKS environments.
• Design and operate resilient service mesh topologies using Istio and Envoy extensions.
• Define platform standards for HTTP/REST and gRPC APIs, including contract governance and performance baselines.
• Develop automation and tooling using Python and Go to enhance developer productivity and operational safety.
• Create and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules, pipelines, and guardrails.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive roadmaps for network service discovery and communication.

Requirements

• Deep experience with AWS network fundamentals (VPCs, Routing, PrivateLink, DNS).
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and AWS EKS operations at scale.
• Proficiency in HTTP/REST and gRPC protocol fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Istio service mesh and Envoy.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Golang.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC best practices.
