Location: Must be based in Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary: $40,000–$45,000

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operations for key customer accounts including data entry and shipment tracking.
• Manage load planning, scheduling, and issue management for LTL, Truckload, and Intermodal shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve problems such as order delays or damaged freight.
• Collaborate with Account Management and Freight Audit & Pay teams to maintain carrier and customer relationships.
• Communicate updates proactively to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Learn and utilize transportation management systems to optimize administrative workflows.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; BA/BS degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proven track record of successful problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
