Field Engineer (Mechanical)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for plant operations, equipment, and systems.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and site personnel.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate corrective actions for power disruptions or equipment failures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop reliability improvement recommendations.
• Oversee maintenance programs, inspections, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in power generation, industrial operations, or plant engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong safety mindset and knowledge of industrial safety practices.
• Ability to support rotational scheduling and travel to other facilities as needed.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) credentials.
• Industry-specific certifications.
• Experience leading commissioning, deployment, or reliability programs.
• Customer-facing experience in an industrial or energy environment.
