What you will do

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities for a multi-disciplinary team including mechanics, welders, and technicians.
• Manage the site Long-Term Maintenance Plan (LTMP) and oversee outage planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Oversee the maintenance work order system, including backlog monitoring, prioritization, and quality assurance.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, forecasts, and P&L responsibilities.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards, including NERC, NFPA, and the National Electric Code.
• Collaborate with operations and procurement to improve plant reliability and manage contractor scopes of work.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or power plant environments.
• Proven supervisory experience leading maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of power plant equipment such as boilers, turbines, and electrical instrumentation systems.
• Proficiency in CMMS platforms like PeopleSoft, Maximo, or NS5.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and provide on-call support as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice to have

• Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering degree.
• Waste-to-Energy industry experience.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, RCFA, and FMEA reliability tools.
