What you will do

• Design and develop advanced radar signal processing algorithms for target detection, tracking, and classification.
• Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and resource constraints in software and hardware environments.
• Lead the development of new radar capabilities and modes with minimal guidance.
• Develop and maintain system simulations and models to support algorithm performance evaluation.
• Plan and lead field tests and data collection activities to validate system performance.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers while presenting technical findings to leadership.

Requirements

• Must be able to work full-time onsite in Hawthorne, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in radar systems.
• Deep understanding of radar principles, signal processing techniques, and RF systems.
• Expertise in algorithm development, data analysis, and digital signal processing.
• Strong familiarity with Python or MATLAB.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in STEM.
• Expertise with radar waveform design, matched filtering, doppler processing, and clutter rejection.
• Experience with C++.
• Strong foundation in both sides of the Systems Engineering V.
