Salary: $202,000 - $223,000

What you will do

• Form and lead a team of experts focused on microwave instruments and data products.
• Design, build, and fly cutting-edge microwave hardware instruments.
• Oversee the development and production of high-quality remote sensing data products.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and external partners.
• Serve as the Mission Scientist for all missions utilizing microwave remote sensing instruments.
• Collaborate with BD and Product teams to direct the microwave systems strategy.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Extensive background in microwave instrument design and hardware engineering.
• Deep understanding of DSP implementation for microwave instruments.
• Familiarity with generating data products from microwave remote sensing.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, green card holder, refugee, or asylee) to comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leading small teams of engineers.
• Track record of interfacing and delivering technical solutions to customers.
• Expertise in Python and AWS cloud services.
