R&D Engineer (EO/IR)

What you will do

• Develop and implement algorithms associated with EO/IR/RF phenomenologies.
• Generate EO/IR/RF signatures using COTS and GOTS software packages.
• Perform R&D on remotely sensed data, including system modeling and analysis algorithm development.
• Contribute to technical test reports, analysis reports, and briefings.
• Produce documentation on the development and enhancement of tools and algorithms.

Requirements

• BS in Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience and understanding of EO/IR signature phenomenologies for passive remote sensing and missile/aircraft systems.
• Programming proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, Matlab, or C++.
• Engineering and mathematical background in EO/IR/RF signature generation.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret Clearance.
• Thorough understanding of working in research, development, and data analysis environments.
• Background in mechanical/aerospace engineering and modeling tools.
