What you will do

• Draft and negotiate SaaS agreements, data licensing deals, MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs.
• Act as the primary legal point of contact for Sales and Business Development teams.
• Develop standard contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positions to streamline contracting.
• Advise stakeholders on risk allocation, IP ownership, and data privacy obligations (GDPR, CCPA).
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle and support corporate governance activities.
• Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Operations to align deal structures with revenue recognition.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4–7 years of legal experience focusing on commercial/technology transactions.
• Expertise in drafting complex technology contracts, including SaaS, API, and platform agreements.
• Strong understanding of data privacy laws, specifically GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
• Must be based in the New York, NY or Mclean, VA metro areas.

Nice to have

• Experience in the adtech, martech, or digital media space.
• Knowledge of programmatic advertising, RTB, or CTV platforms.
• Familiarity with MRC standards or IAB frameworks.
• Exposure to IP licensing or AI/ML data use agreements.
