Salary: $110,000 - $240,000

What you will do

• Design and develop advanced radar signal processing algorithms for target detection, tracking, and classification.
• Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and resource constraints on software and hardware platforms.
• Implement signal processing chains in C++, Python, MATLAB, or hardware like FPGAs and DSPs.
• Plan and lead field tests and data collection activities to evaluate system performance.
• Develop and maintain system simulations and models to support algorithm development.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers while presenting technical findings to leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in radar systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent work experience.
• Deep understanding of radar principles, signal processing techniques, and algorithms.
• Expertise in digital signal processing, algorithm development, and data analysis.
• Systems Engineering experience with RF systems.
• Must be able to work full-time onsite in Hawthorne, CA.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in STEM.
• Expertise with radar waveform design, matched filtering, doppler processing, and clutter rejection.
• Experience with C++.
• Strong foundation in Systems Engineering V-model.
