Materials and Warehouse Manager

What you will do

• Own inventory accuracy across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, including warehouse layout, cycle counting, ABC classification, and traceability.
• Run end-to-end receiving, including purchase order matching, quantity and condition checks, inspection handoff, discrepancy resolution, and MES transactions.
• Manage outbound shipments, returns, transfers, RMAs, carrier coordination, packaging, and labeling compliance.
• Build and operate the internal pick-and-deliver process from stock to production lines across the Scotts Valley facilities.
• Collaborate with the MES and Material System development team on requirements, workflow gaps, edge cases, and user acceptance testing.
• Work with Supply Chain Management on packaging sizes, containers, and kits that reduce handling and floor-space usage.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in materials, warehouse, or inventory management.
• Hands-on experience running inventory, receiving, and shipping transactions in an execution, warehouse, or resource planning system.
• Ability to build SOPs, cycle-counting programs, receiving flows, and packaging standards from scratch in a startup environment.
• Working knowledge of receiving inspection, ABC classification, cycle counting, and lot and date-code traceability.
• Experience in hardware, electronics, or electric vehicle manufacturing, including shelf-life-sensitive or hazardous chemical materials.
• Forklift and pallet jack operation certification, or willingness to obtain certification; strong cross-functional communication and comfort using evolving internal tools.
