Salary: $157,500–$192,500

hirify.global is a startup building the control plane for enterprise AI agents, founded by the creators of Kubernetes.

What you will do

• Build and deliver features across platform services including the runtime, Kubernetes operator, gateway, and registry.
• Fix bugs and harden platform systems to ensure stability for enterprise production deployments.
• Write testable, readable code and produce clear design documentation for new features.
• Review pull requests and participate in technical design discussions with the engineering team.
• Plan and sequence tasks independently while collaborating with product and engineering partners.
• Contribute to the open-source ToolHive codebase and support the community.

Requirements

• Must be based in North America, preferably in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
• Proficiency in Go with a focus on clean, testable code.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies like Docker.
• Experience building or operating platform services such as APIs, gateways, or operators.
• Ability to deliver features independently from implementation to release.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or AI-agent infrastructure.
• Experience with self-hosted environments.
• Startup experience and an AI-first development mindset.
