Sr. Engineer - Platform

Location: London, United Kingdom, or remote within the United Kingdom

Base salary: £66,000–£111,000 GBP per year, plus eligibility for a long-term incentive award and discretionary performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Build high-quality, scalable platforms for site reliability, cloud infrastructure, observability, and production operations.
• Contribute deeply to system architecture and design for highly available, scalable, and secure platforms.
• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Mentor engineers through complex system designs and share platform engineering expertise.
• Use AI tools and modern technologies to improve engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Key experience architecting and delivering large-scale platforms or applications.
• Strong background in platform engineering.
• Experience designing complex systems with AWS primitives.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or OpenTofu, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborative approach to problem-solving, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Comfort using AI to improve workflows and adopting new technologies.
