Senior Software Engineer, Platform (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure covering networking, compute, storage, security, and scalability.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, staged rollouts, rollback strategies, and deployment observability.
• Improve local development and cloud-based development environments so engineers can become productive quickly.
• Build secure environments for AI coding agents and assistants within PCI-compliant infrastructure.
• Define the platform roadmap and partner with engineering leadership on infrastructure investments.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, runbooks, documentation, and infrastructure standards that improve team autonomy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
• Deep AWS expertise, including services such as ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Fluency in infrastructure as code and experience with network segmentation, least-privilege access, secrets management, and encryption.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to infrastructure ownership and decision-making.
• Experience with financial data environments and PCI-DSS-related infrastructure requirements.

Nice to have

• Fintech, payments, or PCI-DSS-regulated environment experience.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workflows, coding agents, or LLM-based tools.
• Familiarity with .NET on AWS, developer platforms, internal tooling, observability stacks, incident response, and EKS.
