Platform Developer (AI)

Location: Novi, Michigan, USA; Sunnyvale, California, USA. Hybrid work in the Novi office is required at least 3 days per week, with up to 20% travel.

Salary: $125,250–$183,700 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise AI platform components, services, APIs, and integrations.
• Implement reusable platform capabilities based on enterprise architecture standards.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and deployment processes for AI workloads.
• Support MLOps and LLMOps, including model deployment, monitoring, versioning, lifecycle management, and governance.
• Implement security, access management, observability, scalability, reliability, and compliance controls.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and document reusable engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with cloud-native platforms using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar enterprise cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, containerization, and production deployments.
• Knowledge of platform security, identity and access management, observability, monitoring, data governance, APIs, and scalable platform architectures.
• Must be willing to work hybrid in the Novi, Michigan office at least 3 days per week and travel 20% of the time.
• Employment is conditional on successfully completing a background investigation and drug screen.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise AI platforms, agent-based systems, retrieval-augmented generation, or generative AI workloads.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, security, or related cloud technologies.
• Experience with vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks, model serving platforms, or modern AI development ecosystems.
• Experience working in large global organizations with distributed engineering and operations teams.
