Location: San Jose, California, United States

Annual base salary: USD 143,800–230,000, plus discretionary bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver control software and firmware for ultra-high-performance electronic products.
• Own complete product designs spanning firmware, microcode, drivers, and upper-level control software.
• Develop system software from system bring-up and diagnostics through runtime control operating systems and support applications.
• Lead or contribute to small, multidisciplinary engineering teams and joint development programs with partner engineering teams.
• Support the full product lifecycle, including customer trials, field issue resolution, volume production, and product sustainability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Customer Support, Compliance, Safety, and Sustainability groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 12+ years of professional experience.
• Background developing embedded system software for large-scale, complex multiprocessor product architectures.
• In-depth understanding of complete system software and runtime control systems.
• Expertise with debugging tools and testing techniques, including unit and system-level testing.
• Experience owning complex products across the lifecycle from inception through volume production.
• Work location: San Jose, California, United States.
