Sr. Electronics Engineer

Location: Andover, Massachusetts, United States; onsite work in an office, laboratory, or manufacturing environment

Salary: $101,675–$169,475 per year, plus a discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug hardware and firmware for high-accuracy flow and pressure measurement systems.
• Develop analog and digital real-time embedded electronics for microcontroller-based control and communication platforms.
• Design low-noise analog circuits, A/D and D/A converters, microcontroller systems, communications interfaces, and low-power power supplies.
• Support hardware development from specifications and architecture through simulation, component selection, PCB layout, reliability prediction, testing, and board bring-up.
• Evaluate designs for performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability, and participate in DFMEA and design reviews.
• Serve as a technical interface with manufacturing during new product releases and support legacy products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical or electronic hardware design, prototype debugging, and testing.
• Experience integrating hardware with mechanical elements and embedded firmware.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and boundary-scan/JTAG tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDA/PCB tools such as Mentor Graphics DxDesigner.
• Experience with EtherCAT, Modbus/TCP, and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience with EMI/EMC regulatory testing.
