What you will do

• Design and maintain people system automations and integrations across Workato, Google Cloud, and internal tools.
• Build and manage integrations between Workday, Greenhouse, and Slack using APIs and SDKs.
• Write and maintain automation code in Ruby with disciplined version control and CI/CD practices.
• Develop Slack apps and bots to streamline workflows for a globally distributed workforce.
• Leverage AI tools and LLMs to accelerate development and identify opportunities for automation.
• Provide technical guidance and serve as a subject matter expert on automation architecture.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining code in Ruby, Python, or PHP.
• Deep expertise in Workato or comparable enterprise automation platforms.
• Strong experience integrating with Workday using Workday Web Services (WWS).
• Proficiency with Git, hirify.global, and CI/CD workflows for production-grade automation.
• Experience building Slack apps and automations using APIs and Bot SDKs.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
• Prior experience in People Technology or HR systems engineering.
