TL;DR
Account Manager (Value-Based Care): Build and manage strategic relationships with medical practices to drive performance improvements across quality and financial outcomes under Value-Based Care (VBC) contracts. Focus on analyzing performance data, closing gaps across HEDIS/STARs and population health metrics, and coaching practices to achieve shared savings and better patient outcomes.
Location: Shreveport, Louisiana (onsite presence key; about 3-4 days/week of travel to Shreveport)
Salary: $85,000–$95,000 base + bonuses + equity

What you will do
- Manage day-to-day relationships with physicians, providers, and healthcare executives to improve financial and quality performance.
- Own account performance across financial outlook, quality management, clinical management, population health, and care management training.
- Use data analytics tools to monitor practice performance against objectives and communicate insights.
- Develop project plans to achieve organizational objectives and align stakeholders on VBC contract goals.
- Coach office staff and clinicians on workflows, processes, and technologies using ’s Value Based Care curriculum.
- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to produce executive-facing presentations and memos (practice and ACO level).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in executive-level communication (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated knowledge of value-based care contracts across all patient types.
- 6–8+ years of experience with practice management, project management, account management, analytical problem solving, and strategic insight using healthcare analytics.
- Ability to work onsite in Shreveport, Louisiana about 3–4 days/week (subject to clinic needs).
Nice to have
- Degree in nursing, social work, health technology, or information technology-related programs.
- 8+ years of relevant medical practice management experience (including significant administrative experience in a clinic setting).
- Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis tools.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel/data visualization skills.
