Salary: $77,622 – $128,852

What you will do

• Design and implement network architectures for core, transport, and access systems ensuring scalability and security.
• Plan and execute engineering projects from concept through deployment, managing budgets and schedules.
• Monitor and optimize network performance using KPIs to detect and resolve outages, congestion, and service degradations.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration files, and technical documentation for operational consistency.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve delivery risks and achieve project milestones.
• Lead technical reviews and post-deployment validations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive engineering experience in telecom environments.
• Must be based in the United States and have reliable transportation for occasional travel.
• Solid understanding of 5G Core architecture and strong working knowledge of 4G EPC.
• Proficiency with core protocols including SIP, Diameter, IP, GTP-C/U, PFCP, SCTP, HTTP/2, and TLS.
• Experience supporting IMS-based services including VoLTE, VoWiFi, and VoNR.

Nice to have

• Experience within the telecommunications industry.
• Certifications in Linux, Ericsson, IMS, or VMware.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
