Location: Hybrid in Austin, Atlanta, Seattle, Washington DC, or Denver, United States. Limited travel may be required, and offer-stage candidates may attend an in-person interview at a office or hub.
Estimated annual salary: $120,000–$165,000 for Washington D.C. Metro and Washington (Kirkland) hires; $98,000–$135,000 for Colorado hires. Compensation may vary by work location.

What you will do
- Maintain the operational availability of data center environments and ’s global network.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network Engineering, SRE, deployment teams, vendors, providers, logistics partners, and remote contractors.
- Support and configure physical network infrastructure, including work in remote colocation facilities.
- Create and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, method-of-procedure documents, plans, and operational processes.
- Use AI and automation tools to reduce repetitive work, accelerate documentation, and improve troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation supporting 24×7 network availability.
Requirements
- Experience with Juniper, Cisco, and DWDM network equipment.
- At least 4 years of Linux systems administration experience.
- Experience managing and instructing remote contractors and supporting infrastructure delivery through partners.
- Understanding of data center colocation environments, network architecture, server technologies, and data center operations such as deployment, migration, and decommissioning.
- Experience improving operational processes and automation in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to handle prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting, documentation, and basic program management responsibilities.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, or a related technical field.
- Experience with complex infrastructure projects, DCIM tools, configuration management, or scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Linux or network certifications, including RHCSA, CCNA, or JNCIA.
- Experience with load balancers and reverse proxies such as Nginx, Varnish, HAProxy, or Apache.
- Experience with large-scale SaaS infrastructure or multilingual, multinational operations.
