L2 Network Engineer (Cisco)

Location: Middle River, Maryland, US; on-site at the Middle River office at least three days per week

What you will do

• Provide hands-on network operations and technical service delivery for two distinct client environments.
• Investigate and resolve network connectivity and infrastructure problems in production settings.
• Maintain and support Cisco-based network infrastructure.
• Help ensure stable network connectivity across multiple client locations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately one week out of every seven.

Requirements

• Practical experience in network engineering or network support, preferably at an intermediate Level 2 level.
• Strong working knowledge of Cisco technologies, routing, switching, TCP/IP, and common networking protocols.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving connectivity and infrastructure issues in live production environments.
• Excellent communication, listening, teamwork, and client-facing skills.
• Experience in managed services, client-facing, or multi-account environments, with the ability to support two client environments.
• No visa sponsorship is available.
