Salary: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Design and develop engineering solutions for complex acoustic and vibration challenges.
• Implement, test, and perform data analysis on sensing and communication hardware.
• Generate technical reports, plots, and evaluation criteria based on collected data.
• Support the development of low-noise analog and digital signal conditioning hardware.
• Work with embedded processors including FPGAs, microcontrollers, and ASICs.
• Model and simulate acoustic phenomenology using multi-domain applications.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited full-time undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
• Must be able to work full-time for a 6-month period.
• Demonstrated coursework or research interest in acoustics or related disciplines.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to have

• Experience with C, C++, or MATLAB/Python for algorithm development.
• Familiarity with modeling tools like LTspice, Simulink, or COMSOL.
• Experience with test and data acquisition systems such as National Instruments or Audio Precision.
