What you will do

• Design and implement DSP algorithms to support advanced sound processing for cochlear implants.
• Develop real-time embedded software and optimize firmware for custom hardware components.
• Integrate software with custom ICs, sensors, and communication modules.
• Conduct software requirements analysis and maintain technical documentation, including test plans.
• Troubleshoot embedded software issues and support audio integration through signal analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• 1–5 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in audio or medical devices.
• Strong expertise in DSP theory and digital signal processing analysis.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C, and assembler for DSP platforms.
• Familiarity with digital and analog hardware design and low-level fixed-point programming.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Valencia, CA with reliable high-speed internet.
