Network Designer (Wireless Cloud Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Take full ownership of engineering deliverables including design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting for wireless cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy next-generation cloud-native network functions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize automation tools to manage platform lifecycles, validate integrations, and perform end-to-end testing.
• Create technical engineering documentation such as design specifications, acceptance test plans, and method of procedures.
• Perform lab design and validation to simulate changes in a controlled environment before production rollout.
• Provide troubleshooting support to operations and peer teams to diagnose and resolve network problems.

Requirements

• University Degree in engineering or computer science.
• Must work onsite in Brampton, ON.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Cloud-Native Platforms.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ericsson CNIS solutions.
• Strong understanding of 3GPP, ETSI, and IEEE industry standards.
• Proficiency in IP networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting in Python or Ansible.
• Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
• Knowledge of 5G Standalone Core and Evolved Packet Core components.
